bad date - part two. (my friends' responses)

Friend CP's Response:
FIRST OFF- dont put him on blast without blasting yourself hunny. WHY were you giving him the runaround if you had no intentions on going:

"7, 8, 9, 9:30 rolls around and he fianlly calls with the directions. And to ask if I'm, still coming. I inform him that I'm taking a nap, and that he should call me in an hour to wake me up.

10:30. he calls back. I'm still sleeping. I'll call you when I am dressed...... "

and you clearly were going somewhere else. imean it was inconsiderate of him to be untimely, but why continue on with his madness. Also, why were up calling hime 3am-4am??? he would have had the pass a long time ago...OR is it that you slightly (lol) wanted to still see him......ummm i think B. lol.


My Friend LB's Response:
Was my date REALLY worse than yours??? [note: we had a bet to see who had the worst date] My actual DATE was good - afterwards, not so much, lol. But anyway, I feel bad for both of us for wasting time on the losers.

My first thought when I read that he invited you to his friend's housewarming as a first date was, "awww." I mean, I love meeting people's families and friends and if he felt comfortable enough to do that before even really getting to know you, I think that's really nice. He also may have wanted to see what his friends said about you and how you "blended" or got along with them. BUT, it is whack that he asked you to bring something for the potluck. He could have just said, it's a potluck, but I'll just bring something, you can come w/ me. Yeah, THAT was a lil crazy.

And I guess my other thought was, he's crazy for all that back and forth calling. I mean, I can understand that you might have felt like, okay, we haven't even established anything, let me not cut you off yet, but he really didn't deserve any calls back. He's LUCKY that you even showed up at LUCKY strike and wtf was that?? Would you attempt to go out with him again??

Ok...my response is two-fold....SINCE YALL WANNA COME AT MY NECK!

CP....I kept going because had you heard how pressed he was for me to go, I actually did slightly wanna go. Had he answered at midnight, Front and I would have passed by for a sec, then proceeded to the Alpha party. And HE CALLED ME at 3:30. I called him at 2 bc that was a normal aftertheclubletsgogetajumboslice hour. And since Front and bgf wanted to eat, he was welcomed to come.

LB....you win. Your date actually was better than mine. LOL. I think I would have killed a negro for looking through my cabinets and stuff. But go out with this fool again....taking out my big red stamp....ABSOLUTELY NOT. We never actually went out to begin with. And i think the house warming is wack....I barely know you, so why am I meeting your friends. I think we need to know each other better before we branch out into family and friends.
